About the job

Upscope is a small team that is hiring its first full time talent acquisition role in our Soho office to build a candidate marketing and screening process that becomes a core part of Upscope’s DNA.

You’ll be working with the co-founders in helping define the profile of candidates that can help us grow and construct the content marketing and events required to build a portfolio of candidates, including initial contact and screening.

Salary: £25k - £35k depending on experience. Lunch and travel to and from the office are covered. This is an office-based role, with the option to work from home one day a week.

We'll be recruiting for some roles at our Miami office, and being able to travel there without needing a visa is a plus!

Main responsibilities

Content Creation & Employer Branding

  • Develop and implement a content strategy to promote our company culture, values, and mission, positioning us as a top employer in the tech space.

  • Create engaging articles, videos, and other content to showcase life at Upscope, highlighting team achievements, behind-the-scenes looks, and employee testimonials.

  • Manage our presence on employer branding platforms like Glassdoor, LinkedIn, etc.

Recruitment & Talent Acquisition

  • Work closely with team leaders to understand hiring needs, both immediate and forecasted based on Upscope’s primary core metric.
  • Source, screen, and interview potential candidates, ensuring a fit for both skills and culture.
  • Maintain a talent pipeline for anticipated future hires, engaging prospective candidates and building relationships well in advance.
  • Coordinate and manage the interview process, ensuring a smooth and positive experience for all candidates.

Onboarding & Integration

  • Collaborate with the team to ensure a smooth onboarding process for new hires.
  • Monitor and gather feedback from new employees to continuously improve the onboarding experience.

Market Research & Networking

  • Stay updated with the latest recruitment trends, technologies, and best practices in the SaaS industry.
  • Attend relevant industry events and networking functions to represent and promote Upscope in London and Miami.

About you

  • At least 1 year of experience in talent acquisition or a similar role.
  • Proficiency in using social media platforms, especially LinkedIn, for recruitment purposes.
  • Strong video creation and editing skills.
  • Comfortable being on camera and representing the company in a professional manner.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Legally authorized to work in the UK and to travel to the United States on the Visa Waiver Program.
