We are looking for a talented Sales Development Representative to be one of the founding members of our Miami office. While we require you to be in the office 4 times a week, we also offer the flexibility for you to work remotely from home if necessary. ***If you are located in any location other than Miami, Florida, please apply only if you are willing to relocate. This is a hybrid role with the majority of the time spent in the office. Applicants are still required to be in Miami.

Main responsibilities

As a SDR, you'll play a crucial role in breaking into new accounts within all levels of our target customer segments. The day-to-day role includes:

  •  Collaboration with Sales Executives, extensive market research to identify new potential customers and leads, and qualification of these leads.
  • Set meetings for the Sales team when a lead reaches a qualified stage.
  • Drive Upscopes outbound prospecting motion, and nurture new leads by educating and developing prospects until they are ready to engage with the sales team.
  • Educate and develop leads by thoughtfully and creatively reaching out to engage target personas via phone calls, videos, emails and events.
  • Generate email sequences and make cold calls to map and penetrate accounts.
  • Conduct follow-up calls and emails until meetings are set.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all lead interactions and sales activities in our CRM system.

About you

  • 1-3 years of experience in sales and customer service: You know how to build rapport, handle objections, and close deals with confidence.
  • Proficiency in using CRMs: You're comfortable navigating CRM systems and leveraging them to streamline your sales process.
  • Flexibility and openness to changes: You embrace new challenges and adapt quickly to evolving business needs.
  • You have an entrepreneurial mindset and enjoy building and testing new processes.
  • You are adaptable and comfortable with a fast-paced changing environment.
  • Experience with working in a hybrid or remote environment: You understand the unique dynamics and responsibilities that come with it.
  • Bachelor's degree would be nice but not necessary: We value experience and skills just as much as formal education :) 
  • Knowledge of sales terms and techniques: You stay up to date with the latest sales trends and are always seeking ways to improve your skills.
  • Tech proficiency in learning and using new software: You're a quick learner when it comes to new tools and technologies.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills: You can articulate ideas clearly and persuasively, both in person and in writing.
  • Strong relationship-building skills: You excel at building and maintaining positive relationships with clients and colleagues alike.
  • Must be able to legally work in the US and in our office full-time in Brickell.
  • Fluent in English reading, writing, and speaking: You communicate fluently and confidently in English.
